Established in 1955 and continuously updated, the motel offers perfect blend of old and new. Conveniently located on Routes 1 and 3, 1 mile west of downtown Ellsworth and 18 miles from Acadia National Park located on Mt. Desert Island, our location allows for a variety of daily trips. Choose a day trip to Deer Isle (45 minutes southeast) or drive up the coast to the Schoodic peninsula (30 minutes east). A day trip to Campobello Island, the Roosevelt International Park and East Quoddy Lighthouse still leaves you enough time for a leisurely evening of relaxation, enjoying a variety of restaurants for your dining pleasure.
